Services Held For Mrs. M. Erskins In Sikes Mar. 23

Funeral services were held Mar. 23 at Wright Cemetery near Sikes for Mrs.
Mattie Erskins, who died March 21 at her home in Sikes.  Services were
conducted by Mr. W. S. Emmons at the graveside.

Mrs. Erskins, who was 90 on February 14, was a member of the Sikes Baptist
Church.  She was a native of Beech Creek but had lived in Sikes since her
marriage to the late W. A. Erskins.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Head and Mrs. Nora Head of Sikes; one
stepson, J. C. Erskins of Sikes; one stepdaughter, Mrs. W. B. Crain of Sikes;
one sister, Mrs. Izora Brown of Callion, Ark.
