B. Bozeman here Friday and was buried in the Winnfield Cemetery following the services at the First Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon. The religious rites were conducted by Rev. H. H. McBride, pastor of the First Baptist Church and Rev. Alwin Stokes, local Presbyterian minister. Mrs. Estes had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. H. B. Bozeman, here for about 15 years. Her husband, the late T. J. Estes, died in Kingsville, Texas in 1926. Mrs. Estes was a member of the White-Comstock family of Texas. Her father, Joe White, was one of the earliest pioneers of Central Texas. He headed a group of settlers from Galitin County, Tennessee, that located west of the Brazos River in 1836 and established the first American colony in the area of what is now Milam and Falls Counties. Surviving are two sons, William O. and Thomas W. Estes of Jujuy, Argentina; five daughters, Mrs. H. B. Bozeman, Winnfield; Mrs. James A. Horton, Coushatta; Mrs. S. D. Summerford, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. A. B. Pullen and Miss Tedd Estes of Mexico City.
