Evans Services for Gladys Finlay Evans, 43, of Midwest City, Okla., were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Southern with the Revs. K. G. Brooks and P. A. "Fox" Paul officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery, Georgetown. Mrs. Evans died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 1982 in her home. Survivors include her husband, Bill Evans of Midwest City, Okla.; one son, Ethan Evans of Midwest City, Okla.; four daughters, Rita Lymon, Billie Jean Watkins, Susan Cabaniss and Angie Evans, all of Midwest City, Okla.; one brother, Charlie Finlay of Jena; five sisters, Betty Lawrence of Shreveport, Louise Milliner of Deville, Margaret Gorham of Winnfield, Edna Crooks and Jo M. Frances, both of Jena; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leroy Lawrence, Toby Gorham, Steve Crooks, Rusty Finlay, John Milliner, Joe Merle Francis.
