Infant Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Evans Buried At Sardis

A saddened group gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Evans Monday, May
21, to offer love and sympathy to the bereaved ones over the loss of their
infant son, who was born Sunday night, may 20, the mother's birthday.  At the
request of the mother funeral services were held at the Evans home in her room
at 11 o'clock Monday morning with the Rev. W. D. Sherwood officiating.

After services the little body was carried by loving relatives and friends to
Sardis Cemetery for burial.  The infant leaves to mourn its loss its parents,
Mr. and Ms. Ernest Evans, one sister, little Gloria Jean, 2 years old;
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Anderson, paternal grandparents Mr.
and Mrs. G. W. Evans, and several uncles and aunts.
