Neal Evans

Services for Neal Denson Evans were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel
of Southern with the Revs. Ray Teal and Danny Keyes officiating.  Burial was
in Sardis Cemetery.

Evans, 83, of Atlanta died at 2:15 a.m., Thursday, October 10, 1985 in
Natchitoches Parish Hospital, Natchitoches.

Survivors include his wife Ottie Evans of Atlanta; three sons, Wilson
Evans of Lakeside, Calif., Thomas Evans of Shreveport and Russell Evans of
Natchitoches; four daughters, Evelyn Shaw of Atlanta, Mary Cottum (Cottun)
of Baton Rouge, Kathryn Holdridge of Fort Worth, Texas and Ann Harper of
Arlington, Texas; one sister, Lethea McDaniel of Wisner, 13 grandchildren
and 13 great grandchildren.
