Mrs. Shuffler, 82, Dies; Services Held Monday

Eva Ellen Shuffler, 82, died in a Winnfield nursing home Sunday, September 5,
1971 at 12:30 p.m. She was a native of El Dorado, Ark.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Violet Prodin of Houston, Tex., Mrs.
Eugenia Cummings of Calvin, and Mrs. Rosanna Melton of Winnfield; a son, David
Morris of Garland, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Bill Melton of Minden; eight
grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Hixson Brothers Funeral
Chapel with Rev. Lester Hunter officiating, assisted by Rev. Rayford Higgs. 
Burial was in the Old Winnfield Cemetery.
