All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: December 3, 1980 Winn Parish Enterprise Walter Everett Lois Everett Joint services for Walter Redwine Everett VI, 75, and Lois Martin Everett, 78, both of 211 Leah St., Pineville, were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Revs. W. D. Carson, Bill Gordon, and L. J. Stotts officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Everett died at 10:30 p.m. Friday in Camellia Gardens Nursing Home, Pineville. Mrs. Everett died at 3:15 a.m. Friday in her home. He was a retired mechanic for the P. A. Shadow Tractor Co. The Everetts were members of Pinehurst Baptist Church. They were natives of Winn Parish. Survivors include three sons, William Fred Everett and Gerald D. Everett, both of Alexandria, and the Rev. John R. Everett of Pitkin; three daughters, Erma Everett, Laura Harrison, and Linda Davis, all of Pineville; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Everett is also survived by one sister, Lois Thomas of Couley. Mrs. Everett is also survived by one brother, Eddie Martin of Winnfield and two sisters, Ida Briley and Alice Kelley both of Winnfield. Pallbearers for Mr. Everett were Mell Ollis, Larry Wooley, Charles Smith, Jack Pearce, Hector Slaughter, John Pickett, and Lloyd Eden. Pallbearers for Mrs. Everett were Larry DeLoach, Donald Williams, Louis Brunet, Garland Stepp, Randy Phillips, Ray Smith, Johnny Everett, Roy McGlothin, and Dale Phillips.
