Mrs. Ezell, 80, Dies; Rites Held Sunday

Mrs. Eula Wright Ezell, 80, of Winnfield, died Friday, February 20, 1976 in a
local hospital.

Widow of Jack Ezell, Ms. Ezell was a native of Winn Parish and was a member of
a prominent pioneer Winnfield family.  She was a member of the First Baptist
Church and operated the Winnfield High School store for many years.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hixson Funeral Home with the
Rev. Calvin Phelps and the Rev. Charles Haley officiating.  Burial was in the
Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Jack Lynn Holland of Winnfield; two sisters,
Mrs. Ella Keefe of Winnfield and Mrs. Annette Grigsby of Shreveport; and two
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were E. E. Crooks, Harper Terrill, Jesse Anders, Jim Russell,
Melvin Gresham, and Hubert Howard.
