S. J. Sylvest officiating. Burial was in the Aloha Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. He was a native of Claiborne Parish but had resided in Winn Parish for the past 60 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Fletcher; four sons, Willie Mack Fletcher of Oneonta, N. Y., Foster B. Fletcher of Tioga, Dan Fletcher, Jr., of the Panama Canal, and Ivy Fletcher of Okinawa; one daughter, Mrs. Sybil Dyson of Montgomery; one brother, Nat Fletcher of Colfax, and six grandchildren.
