Last Rites For Dan Fletcher Held Tuesday

Funeral services for Dan Fletcher, 84, of Montgomery, who died Saturday,
August 7, 1965 were held in the Baptist Church in Montgomery with the Rev. S.
J. Sylvest officiating.  Burial was in the Aloha Cemetery under the direction
of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.

He was a native of Claiborne Parish but had resided in Winn Parish for the
past 60 years.  He was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Fletcher; four sons, Willie Mack
Fletcher of Oneonta, N. Y., Foster B. Fletcher of Tioga, Dan Fletcher, Jr., of
the Panama Canal, and Ivy Fletcher of Okinawa; one daughter, Mrs. Sybil Dyson
of Montgomery; one brother, Nat Fletcher of Colfax, and six grandchildren.
