W. Roy Faith, 69, Dodson Native, Succumbs Jan. 15

W. Roy Faith of Shreveport, native of Dodson, in Winn Parish, died Saturday,
January 15, 1972 after a short illness.

Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Osborn Funeral
Home in Shreveport with Rev. Lonnie M. Sibley, pastor of the North Highland
Methodist Church, officiating.  Interment was in Forest Park Cemetery.

He was a retired wholesale distributor and agent for Standard Oil of New
Jersey and Humble Oil and Refining Co.  He was a member of North Highland
United Methodist Church and the North Shreveport Lions Club.

Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Julius W. Brown, Jr., of
Shreveport; ond brother, C. R. Faith of Shreveport, and three sisters, Mrs.
Lucille Harrison of Campti, Mrs. Kermit Sumner of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs.
Elaine Farmer of Gwin, Mich.
