Funeral Held on Sunday for Louis Farmer, Packton

Funeral services for Louis Farmer, 77, of near Packton, were held Sunday,
November 9, at 2 p.m.  He died Saturday in a local hospital.  

Mr. Farmer was a native of Marion County, Miss., and had lived in the Packton
Community for several years.  Funeral services were held at the Zion Church,
officiated by Rev. A. L. Norsworthy.  Burial was in Zion Cemetery under
direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Calvin Evans, Frank Evans, Henry Farmer, Clyde Farmer, Huey
Dodson, and Marlin Parham.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ida Farmer, two brothers, Jim of Dry Prong and
Jesse of Hoston, La., and several stepchildren.
