James Fatheree, 96, Dies; Rites At Sharon Church

James Fatheree, 96, Sikes, died Sunday, March 24, 1968 in a local hospital
after a brief illness.

Funeral services were conducted at Sharon Baptist Church Monday with Rev. C.
S. Martin and and Phillip Curry officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral
Home of Jonesboro.

Survivors include two sons, H. B. Fatheree and Odis Fatheree, both of Sikes;
four daughters, Mrs. Murl Brown of Monroe, Mrs. Estelle Coffer, Mrs. Mandie
Sowers, and Mrs. Thayron Thompson, all of Sikes; a sister, Mrs. Jane Thompson
of Sikes; a brother, Steve Fatheree of Monroe; nine grandchildren, 33 great
grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
