Mother of B. M. Feazell Dies

Mrs. J. M. Feazell, 86, died in the Ruston hospital Sunday, Nov. 19, 1944,
after a long illness.  She had been making her home with her son, Jim Feazell,
at Vernon, Jackson Parish.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev.
McCain officiating.  Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

The mother of ten children, Mrs. Feazel was preceded in death by her husband
and two sons.  Surviving are the following children: Mrs. J. R. Upchurch and
Jim Feazell, Vernon; Max of Quitman, Ga.; Fred, Monroe, La.; Ott, Valdosta,
Ga.; B. M., Dodson; Obie, Albany, Ga.; Mrs. Emily Grigsby, Ruston; and mrs.
Evelyn Horton, Galveston, Texas.

She also leaves 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  One
grandson, Carlington Feazell of Dodson is serving overseas.
