All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: August 1, 1929 Winn Parish Enterprise Cortus Felix Dies Thursday Funeral Services At Baptist Church At 2:30 O'clock Friday Afternoon Funeral services for Cortus Felix, who died at 8 o'clock Thursday morning, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. A. H. Cullen will officiate. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery. Cortus, who has been ill about a week, returned to Winnfield from a government camp in Pensacola, Fla., about two weeks ago. He would have been seventeen years old on September 3. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Felix, two brothers, Everett and Harry, and two sisters, Mrs. Lela May Culpepper and Mary Elizabeth. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miller, of Alexandria, out of town relatives will arrive Friday for the funeral.
