Felix, 17, Dies Suddenly At His Home Here Cortus C. Felix, seventeen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Felix, died Thursday at eight o'clock following an illness of about ten days. Cortus was taken ill supposedly from a bruise in which developed blood poisoning causing his death in a very short time. He was born September 13, 1913 and has lived with his parents here all his life attending the public schools. He was a popular lad among his many friends who mourn his loss. Cortus is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Felix, two brothers, Everett D. and Harry H. Felix, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Culpepper and little Mary Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held this morning at the First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. A. H. Cullen and interment will be made in the Winnfield Cemetery.
