C. L. Ferris, 68, Succumbs; Rites Tuesday

Charlie L. Ferris, 68, of Atlanta, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 1974 in a
local hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was an electrician for South
Central Bell.

He is survived by a brother, Junius Ferris of Montgomery; five sisters, Mrs.
Sybil Jones, Mrs. Lou Annie Walters, and Mrs. Ora Lee Wright, all of
Montgomery, Mrs. Geraldine Brice of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Helen Anders of
Shreveport, and two nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home in Winnfield with the Rev. Roy Moore officiating.  Burial was in
Mars Hill Cemetery near Verda.
