C. H. Ferguson Dies May 28; Rites Tuesday

Cornelius H. Ferguson, 88, of Atlanta, died Sunday May 28, 1967 in a Winnfield
nursing home.

Survivors include one son, Buel Ferguson of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Miss
Mabel Ferguson of Atlanta; two brothers, E. G. Ferguson and C. C. Ferguson
of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. M. F. Collier and Mrs. J. M. Neal of Atlanta;
three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Ferguson was a retired postmaster and former registrar of voters.  He was a
member of the Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Atlanta Methodist 
Church with Rev. Dell Durand officiating, assisted by Rev. Ray Teal and Rev.
Elmer Malone.

Burial was in Atlanta Cemetery.  Masonic graveside rites were conducted.
