Last Rites for C. J. Ferguson Held Wednesday

Funeral services for Cullen Joseph Ferguson, 48, who died unexpectedly of a
heart attack Monday while working on a dredge boat at Galveston, Texas, were
held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church with the
pastor, Rev. Waynon Mott officiating.  Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Surviving is a daughter, Dorothy Mae, Winnfield; a son, Cullen Joseph, Jr., of
Winnfield; three brothers, Bill, Lake Charles, Buford, Houston, Texas, and
Elbert, Glenmora; and a sister, Mrs. Fred Yancy, Winnfield.
