C. H. Ferguson Dies May 28; Rites Tuesday

Cornelius H. Ferguson, 88, of Atlanta, died Sunday, May 28, 1967 in a
Winnfield nursing home.

Survivors include one son, Buel Ferguson of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Miss
Mabel Ferguson of Atlanta; two brothers, E. G. Ferguson and C. C. Ferguson of
Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. M. F. Collier and Mrs. J. M. Neal of Atlanta; three
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Ferguson was a retired postmaster and former registrar of voters.  He was a
member of the Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Atlanta Methodist
Church with Rev. Dell Durand officiating, assisted by Rev. Ray Teal and Rev.
Elmer Malone.  Burial was in Atlanta Cemetery and Masonic graveside services
were conducted.
