Final Rites For Mrs. T. A. Ferrell, Sr., To Be Friday

Mrs. T. A. Ferrell, Sr., native of Mississippi, and a longtime resident of
Winnfield, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eli Harrell, at 5:15 a.m.
Thursday, October 21, after a lengthy illness.  She was 86 years of age and
was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield.

Last rites will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 19, at the chapel
of Southern Funeral Home with Dr. W. L. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist
Church of Winnfield, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Winnfield
Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, T. A. Ferrell, Jr., of Winnfield, and L. M.
Ferrell of Jackson, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. Eli Harrell of Winnfield,
Mrs. Harvell Thornton of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. M. E. Mercer of Pollock;
one sister, Mrs. A. F. Wood of Memphis, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great
grandchildren.
