Last Rites For Felix Ferrier Held at Iatt

Funeral services for Felix Ferrier, 71, of near Verda, were held at Iatt
Church Monday, August 13, with the Rev. Irvin DeWitt officiating.  Mr. Ferrier
was born at Aloha, Louisiana and died in an Alexandria hospital.  Interment
was in the Iatt Cemetery under the direction of the Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home of Winnfield.

He is survived by his wife, Relia Ferrier; five sons, Clarence, San Antonio,
Texas; Carl, Alexandria; Alfred, Pollock; J. B., Pineville; and Phill, Jr., of
Lake Charles.

Mr. Ferrier is also survived by his daughters, Mrs. Tony Allias, Alexandria;
Mrs. Pearline Sanders, Montgomery; Mrs. Fannie McCracken, Montgomery; and Ms.
Lessie May Chellette, of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Fredieu and
Miss Octaine Ferrier of Colfax; and two brothers, George and Floyd Ferrier of
Montgomery.

Pallbearers were Ben Lemoine, David Roberts, Ellis Fletcher, Lawrence Fenie,
J. D. Fredieu, and L. B. Dubois.
