Funeral Services In Iatt For Felix Ferrier

Funeral services were held this week for Felix Ferrier, 71 year old Verda
resident who died Sunday in Alexandria.  Last rites were in the Iatt Church,
Rev. Irvin Dewitt officiating.  Burial was in Iatt Cemetery under direction
of Hixson Funeral Home in Winnfield.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Relia Ferrier; five sons, Clarence of San
Antonio, Texas, Carl of Alexandria, Alfred of Pollock, J. B. of Pineville, and
Felix, Jr., of Lake Charles; four daughters, Mrs. Tony Ellis of Alexandria,
Mrs. Peadline Sanders of Montgomery, Mrs. Fannie McCracken of Montgomery, Mrs.
Lessie Mae Chelette of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Fredieu of
Colfax and Miss Osie Ferrier of Colfax; two brothers, George and Floyd of
Montgomery.

Pallbearers were Ben Lemoine, Dave Roberts, Ellis Fletcher, Lawrence Ferrier,
L. B. Dubois, and J. D. Fredieu.
