Lloyd W. Ferrier, 50, Succumbs; Burial July 16

Lloyd W. Ferrier, 50, of Montgomery, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, 1966,
in a Pineville hospital after a long illness.  He was an auto mechanic and a
native of Colfax.  He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Montgomery Church of
Christ with Rev. Luther Richardson officiating.  Burial was in Shady Grove
Cemetery near Verda under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vallery Ferrier of Montgomery; three sons,
Williard W., Robert W., and James J. Ferrier, all of Montgomery; one daughter,
Merrilyn Yvonne Ferrier of Montgomery; five brothers, Lawrence and Warren of
Montgomery, Bain of Calvin, and Bryan and Alphous Ferrier of Natchitoches;
three sisters, Mrs. Otho Simmons, Mrs. Ora Dubois, and Mrs. Carol Perkins, all
of Montgomery, and three grandchildren.
