Final Rites For W. A. Ferguson Held In Atlanta

Funeral services for W. A. Ferguson, 87, former Winn Parish resident, were
held Sunday, December 2, in the Atlanta Methodist Church.  Mr. Ferguson died
in a Shreveport hospital November 30th.

Rites were conducted by Rev. Tillman Brown of Montgomery assisted by Rev. Lula
Wardlow, pastor of the Atlanta Church, and Rev. E. O. Brakeman of the Atlanta
Baptist Church.  Mr. Ferguson was a member of the Atlanta Methodist Church. 
He was born and reared in Winn Parish.

Surviving are several nieces, Mrs. J. J. Bell, Atlanta; Mrs. Nannie Luneau,
Alexandria; Mrs. Kate McClosky, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Louella McManus and Mrs.
Carrie Kelley of Pineville; Miss Margarette Ferguson, Dallas, Texas; one
nephew, Garland Pharis, Pineville; one great great niece, Mary Margarette
Bell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Bell; and sever great nephews.
