Box Dies From Injuries Little Joan Forehand, 7 year old resident of the Methodist Home in Macon, Ga., and granddaughter of John C. Box of Winnfield, was fatally injured last Friday in a playground accident at the Methodist home when she was swinging on a "giant stride". A supporting pole broke and an iron upright struck Joan on the head. She died enroute to the hospital. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Lester Long; two sisters, Clara Edith and Betty Lou Forehand, and a brother, Roy Earl Forehand of Macon; her grandparents, Mrs. Lula Forehand of Osierfield, Ga., and John C. Box of Winnfield. Funeral services were held at the Burden Memorial chapel at the Methodist Home at 10 a.m. Sunday. Burial was in Fitzgerald, Ga.
