Obituaries-D. C. Finnelle

Services for Drew C. Finnelle, 67, of Shreveport were held at 1 p.m. Saturday
at St. John Berchmans Co. Cathedral with the Rev. Joseph Browning, pastor,
officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery with Rose-Neath Marshall
Street in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Finnelle died Friday April 25, 1980 at Veterans Administration Medical
Center after a lengthy illness. 

Born in Winn Parish, he was retired from the Shreveport Police Department. He
was a member of the Louisiana Police Officer's Association and a World War II
veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Florence E. Finnelle of Shreveport, and daughter,
Linda Kay Moffett of Shreveport.

The Shreveport Police Department provided an honor guard.
