News has been received by James Fishter of the death of his father, R. W. Fisher, at Freindship, Ark., Wednesday, December 11. Mr. Fisher was born at Social Hill, Ark., February 22, 1859. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie Fisher, and five children and five stepchildren. Children surviving him are Mrs. M. L. Tackett of Malvern, Ark.; Mrs. J. O. Taylor, Bearden, Ark.; Julius I. Fisher, Perla, Ark.; James Fisher, Winnfield; Floyd M. Fisher, Smackover, Ark. Stepchildren surviving the deceased are: Mrs. Guy Newsom, Searcy, Ark.; Mrs. Frank Boyd, Glen Flora, Tex.; Mrs. L. E. Wogencroft, Eagle Lake, Tex.; E. B. Plumer, Little Rock, Ark.; J. B. Plumer, Arcadia, La.; L. R. Plumer, Malvern, Ark. Mr. Fisher was a member of the Point Cedar Lodge No. 334, F. & A. M., located at Friendship, Ark. He served as treasurer for this organization for more than forty years of his life. Funeral services were held at the Friendship Methodist Church where he has been a member for fifty years. Interment was made at the Friendship Cemetery, by Rev. Roscoe Walsh, and the Masonic fraternity.
