George Fitzgerald Of Sikes Passes Away Saturday

George W. Fitzgerald, 60, of Sikes, died suddenly as a result of a heart
attack Saturday, July 21.  He was a native of Tennessee, but was making his
home in Sikes with Mr. and Mrs. John Oliphant.

Funeral services were at Hurricane Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Smith
and Rev. Mathews of Sarepta officiating.  Burial was in Hurricane Grove
Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lula Fitzgerald of Hollow Rock, Tenn., three
daughters, Mrs. Jimmie Sherill of Westport, Tenn., Mrs. Woodrow Turner of
Hollow Rock, Tenn., Mrs. Beva Stallcup of Chicago, Ill.; five sons, Gould
Fitzgerald of Sikes, Clyde of McKenzie, Tenn., Claude of Chicago, Ill., Willie
of Humboldt, Tenn., R. C. of Gleason, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
