Mrs. Laura K. Fletcher Dies; Rites At Hargis

Laura Kelly Fletcher, 86, died at her residence in Montgomery, Monday, January
22, 1968 after a long illness.  She was the widow of the late W. C. Fletcher.

She is survived by five sons, Wayne C. Fletcher of Hot Springs, Ark., Rev.
Verne K. Fletcher, of Houma, Jim Fletcher of Barksdale AFB, La. (only three
sons listed); two daughters, Mrs. Mary Gore of Alexandria and Mrs. Lorna
Monroe of Montgomery; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hargis Baptist Church
with Revs. Crawford Green and Don Shehorn officiating.  Burial was in Mars
Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
