Last Rites For Mrs. J. N. Fletcher Held At Mars Hill Jan. 13

Mrs. J. N. Fletcher, Sr., 90, of Verda, passed away Friday night.  Last rites
were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mars Hill.

The Rev. Mose Mercer officiated with Rev. Brown of Verda, and Rev. Spears of
Boyce assisting.  Burial was under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fletcher was a member of the Verda Baptist Church at the time of her
death, but for many years was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church.

She leaves five sons, Rich of Apply, Texas, Walter of Aloha, J. N., G. A., and
Pete of Shreveport; and one daughter, Mrs. Tom Harrison of Verda; 16
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
