Mrs. R. W. Fletcher, Sister of Winn Residents, Dies

Mrs. R. W. Fletcher, 75, native of this area, died in a Lecompte hospital
Friday, Oct. 24.  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Mars
Hill Baptist Church.  Burial was in the Mars Hill Cemetery under direction of
Hixson Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, R. W. Fletcher of Lecompte; seven sons,
Crawford of Watson, Tom of Colfax, Lynn of Montgomery, Taft and Oliver, both
of Lecompte, R. W., Jr. of Transsylvania, and Payne of Baton Rouge; three
daughters, Mrs. Marie Fletcher of Lecompte, Mrs. Doris Vienne of Alexandria,
and Mrs. Ruth Finch of New Mexico; a brother, Gus Dixon of Atlanta; two
sisters, Mrs. Mackie Davidson of Montgomery and Mrs. Emma Poole of Atlanta; 25
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
