Gary R. Fletcher To Be Buried At Hargis Friday

Gary R. Fletcher, 53, retired farmer of Rt. 1, Montgomery, died in a Houston,
Texas hospital at 1 p.m. February 14 after a lengthy illness.  He was a native
of Verda and a member of the Hargis Baptist Church.

Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hargis Baptist Church
with the Rev. W. E. Powell officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife and two sons, Donald and Robert, all of Montgomery;
four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Dyess of Winnfield, Ms. Inez Wyatt of St. Maurice,
Mrs. Julia Hodnett of Colfax, and Mrs. Stella Pollard of Dry Prong.
