Last Rites For John F. Fletcher Held At Mt. Zion

John Franklin Fletcher, 78, of the Hargis Community, Grant Parish, succumbed
December 8, 1939, and was buried at Mt. Zion Saturday, December 9.

Mr. Fletcher's wife died last June 9.

Mr. Fletcher was well known in this parish where he has a number of relatives. 
Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Mrs. Leola Deen, Mrs. Lonnie
Beville, and Owen Fletcher of Hargis; Mrs. Pearl Bostick of Delhi and Odus
Fletcher of Detroit, Mich.

The deceased also leaves two brothers, Nelson and Rube Fletcher, and one
sister, Mrs. J. N. Gates.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield was Mr. R. C. Fletcher, a nephew of the
deceased.
