Fort Formerly Of Winnfield Buried In Minden Nov. 27 Funeral services for Arthur Fort of Baton Rouge, formerly a merchant of Winnfield, were held in Minden Thursday morning, November 27th, conducted by the Rev. R. H. Wynn. Mr. Fort who had been in ill health for sometime died at his home in Baton Rouge Tuesday morning. Mr. Fort with his family were residents for many years of Winnfield where he engaged in the mercantile business and identified with the civic and social life of the town and community. Surviving him are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. John Howard of Lake Charles, Mrs. Pat Robert of Harris, Miss Louise Fort of Baton Rouge; and one son, Arthur Fort, Jr., of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Mr. Connell Fort, Mr. Walton Fort, Minden; Mr. Moses Fort, Louisville, Ky.; four sisters, Mrs. D. F. Cheshire, Mrs. Zella Hardy, Miss Ethel Fort, Shreveport, and Mrs. A. J. Goodwill, Minden.
