Ford Jimmy Dale Ford, 42, of Winnfield died Thursday afternoon January 10, 1974 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a retired master sergeant in the U. S. Air Force. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marlene Ford of Winnfield; three sons, Michael Ford, Mitchell Ford, and Jimmy Ford, all of Winnfield; five daughters, Vivian Ford, Imogene Ford, Theresa Ford, Deborah Ford, and Rebecca Ford, all of Winnfield; his mother, Mrs. Edna Hall Raley of Winnfield; one brother, Samuel D. Ford of Meridian, Miss.; and one sister, Mrs. Peggy Carroll of Springhill. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating, assisted by Rev. Jimmy Yocum. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery near here with full military rites being conducted. Pallbearers were from the U. S. Air Force.
