Mrs. T. F. Fortner Buried Nov. 23 At Couley Cemetery

Mrs. Hessie Little Fortner, 54, resident of near St. Maurice, died at her home
Monday, Nov. 21, after several years of ill health.  Funeral services were
held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Couley Methodist Church with Rev. C. M.
Robinson officiating.  Burial was in the Couley Cemetery.

The deceased was born and reared in Winn, the daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Little.

Surviving are her husband, T. F. Fortner; two sons, Leon Powell of Saline
Lake; Lawrence Powell of Thedalles, Oregon; one sister, Gladys, of El Dorado,
Ark.; and one brother Little of U. S. Army.  She also leaves six
grandchildren.
