Mrs. Lennie E. Fordham, 79, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 1968 in a Winnfield nursing home. She was a member of the Zoar Methodist Church near Sikes. She is survived by her husband, N. D. Fordham; one son, J. W. Fordham of Sikes; five daughters, Mrs. Marvin Wyatt and Mrs. Margie Crain, both of Winnfield, Mrs. Paul Weakley and Miss Lucille Frodham, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. James Taylor of Texas City, Texas; five brothers, Sam Willis, Jack Willis, and P. J. Willis, all of Shreveport, Lloyd Willis of Baton Rouge, and James Willis of Longview, Texas; one half-brother, E. M. Stringer of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. T. D. Hunter and Mrs. Alpha Kidd, both of Mountain Home, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home, Rev. Willie James officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
