Finous A. Fortner Dies; Funeral Rites Held At Mt. Zion

Finous Alexander Fortner, 89, of Montgomery, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday,
September 26, 1969 in an Alexandria hospital.

Survivors are three sons, Cecil Fortner and Thurmon Fortner of Montgomery, and
D. C. Fortner of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Naomi McVay of Galena
Park, Texas, Mrs. Addis Flatt and Mrs. Adelle Shelton of Dallas, Texas; 13
grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Services were held in Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Montgomery, at 4 p.m.
Saturday.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
