Funeral Services For A. Foster At Atlanta Sunday


Funeral services for Arlon Foster, 30, of 6411 Tulsa Street, Shreveport, who
died at the Highland Sanitarium at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, were held at Atlanta at
12 noon Sunday.  The Rev. C. A. Voyles of the Southside Baptist Church, Cedar
Grove, officiating.  Interment was in the Atlanta Cemetery.

Mr. Foster is survived by his widow, four children, J. P., Buford, Doris, and
Murphy J.; one brother, P. O. Foster, of Kirbyville, Texas, and two sisters,
Mrs. J. T. Shaw and Mrs. H. J. Longino, Atlanta.

Among the out of town friends and relatives who attended the funeral were: Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Howell and children, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Henderson and son, Mrs.
E. M. Howell, Mrs. Arthur Bonnette and son, Robert Lee, Mr. and Mrs. Fortson,
Mr. Pick Graham, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Smith, Mrs. H. U. Bell, Miss Delia Shows all
of Shreveport; Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Rust, Alexandria; Mrs. Foster's father, Mr.
Shows of Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Leary and children of Winnfield.
