A native of Winn Parish, she had resided in Shreveport for 20 years. Mrs. Foster was dietician for the Home for the Aged and was a hostess at a Shreveport hotel for seven years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday in a Shreveport funeral home with the Rev. H. L. Kendrick, Jr., pastor of the First Nazarene Church of Bossier City, officiating. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery in Minden. Survivors include one son, George W. Foster II of Shreveport; three sisters, and one brother.
