Dodson Man's Father Dies at Age of 93

Dickson H. Lewis Fowler, 93 year old father of George Fowler of Dodson and a
resident of this section of the state since Civil War days, died at Jonesboro
Sunday after an illness of three weeks.  He was buried at 2:00 p.m.  Monday at
Midway, with the Southern Funeral Home in charge.

Born at Mobile, Ala., on April 4, 1852, Mr. Fowler is survived by nine
children and 35 grandchildren.  He was a member of the Baptist Church and the
Masonic Lodge.
