Mrs. Anna Pratt Fowler, Former Local Resident Succumbs

The body of Mrs. Anna Pratt Fowler, widow of the late Randal B. Fowler, who
died at the Alexandria hospital on December 3, was carried to New Orleans on
Saturday for interment in the New Orleans Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Fowler, with her husband, the late Randal B. Fowler and family, resided
in Winnfield a number of years ago when he was vice president and general
manager of the Tremont and Gulf Railroad.

She was born in Toronto, Canada and was reared in Hanibal, Mo.  After her
marriage to Mr. Fowler she resided in Little Rock, New Orleans, Winnfield, and
Alexandria.  She was a devout member of the Episcopal Church.

Surviving are four sons, Randal Fowler with the W. P. A., New Orleans; J. W.
Fowler, Shreveport, George H. Fowler, Alexandria, and A. P. Fowler, Natchez,
Miss.
