Funeral services for Buford Fowler, 50, of Montgomery, were held at 3 p.m.
Monday at Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Revs. G. A. McVay, George Horn,
and Dorothy McGowen officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mr. Fowler died Sunday, April 3, 1977 at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in
Alexandria after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist
Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nell Fowler of Montgomery; two sons, Frank
Fowler of Winnfield and Tony Fowler of Montgomery; two daughters, Sherry Duffy
and Miss Lee Fowler, both of Montgomery; his mother, Mrs. Frank Fowler of
Montgomery; two brothers, Bert Fowler of Montgomery and Arvil Fowler of West
Monroe and two grandchildren.
