A. Fowler, Sr. Services for William A. "Dub" Fowler, Sr., were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Mulhearn with the Rev. Roy Moore officiating. Burial was in Fort Necessity Cemetery, Fort Necessity. Fowler, 66, of Fort Necessity, died at 10:05 a.m. Friday, August 22, 1986 in Franklin Parish Hospital, Winnsboro. He was a deacon at Fort Necessity Baptist Church. He was retired from Tennessee Gas where he was employed 38 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason of F. & A. M. Masonic Lodge in Ogen. He was a native of Winn Parish. Survivors include his wife, Annie Mae Fowler of Fort Necessity; one son, William A. Fowler, Jr., of Fort Necessity; two daughters, Betty Parker of Fort Necessity and Barbara Allbritton of Vicksburg, Miss.; one brother, Rayford Fowler of Brownfield, Texas; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimbo Colvin, Bonner Wiggers, Cecil Pylant, John McClanahan, Bud Gauldin, and Dwight Lovelady.
