C. W. Fox Dies; Funeral Rites At Zion Hill

Columbus W. Fox, 75, of Dodson, died Wednesday, September 17, 1969 at his
residence.

Mr. Fox was a veteran of World War I, a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church,
and a member of Eastern Star Lodge No. 151, F. & A. M.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sophia Fox of Dodson; one son, Denver Fox of
Dodson; one daughter, Mrs. Willadeen Jordan of Dodson; three brothers, N. J.
Fox of West Monroe, B. B. Fox of Shreveport, and H. W. Fox of Vivian; one
sister, Mrs. Ida Boyett of Joyce; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in Zion Hill Baptist Church near
Winnfield with Rev. T. T. Edwards, Rev. W. C. Bounds, and Rev. Glen Mixon
officiating.  Masonic graveside services were held.  Burial was in the church
cemetery.

Pallbearers were J. R. James, J. J. Johns, Harley Austin, Laurie Mercer,
Clifford Hughes, and Jesse Dale Brewer.
