Fox Monday, May 6 Mrs. Elizabeth Dean Fox, 90 years, one month, and seven days of age, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. W. Price, Dodson, Sunday. A native of the Zion Hill Community, she had been making her home in Dodson for the past two years. Funeral services were conducted at Zion Hill Monday at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ivey Creel, pastor of Zion Hill, Judge Cas Moss and Rev. H. J. Mott, pastor of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church, officiating. E. L. McGuffee had charge of the song services. Interment was in the Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were MacArdis Price, Juston Hammons, H. Stroud, Elzie Adams, J. L. Fox, and Junior Smith, grandsons of the deceased. The mother of ten children, Mrs. Fox reared her family in the Zion Hill community, where for 77 years she was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are eight daughters: Mrs. G. W. Price, Dodson; Mrs. H. H. Smith, Sr., Winnfield; Mrs. N. G. W. Adams, Hudson; Mrs. Winfred Peppers and Mrs. Henry Stroud, Sikes; Mrs. Lum Hammons, Gaars Mill; Mrs. Ben Pearce, Alvardo, Texas; and Miss Allie Fox, Dodson; two sons, S. T. Fox, Winnfield, and Lawrence Fox, Alexandria; and one sister, Mrs. Medie Hammons, Gaars Mill. She also leaves 30 grandchildren, a large number of great grandchildren, and a few great-great grandchildren.
