Last Rites For Mrs. J. M. Fox Held At Zion Hill Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Jan Fox, age 70, who succumbed at her home
in the Tannehill Community Thursday, June 3, 1943, were held at the Zion Hill
Church and cemetery Friday afternoon with the Rev. Foster officiating.

Born November 20, 1872, Mrs. Fox spent her entire life in this parish.  On
December 28, 1893 she was married to J. M. Fox and to this union eight sons
and two daughters were born.

At the age of 15 years Mrs. Fox joined the Friendship Church and remained a
faithful Christian throughout her life.

Surviving are six sons and one daughter: Mrs. Bill Gilmore, Jonesboro; Henry,
Morris, and Vince, Winnfield; Ernest Fox, Tannehill, Odus Fox, Dodson, and
Horace Fox.

She also leaves two brothers, Kendrid and Wiley Boyett, of Winnfield, Route
Four; twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
