Funeral Conducted For Mrs. Frantom Friday Afternoon

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 31 for Mrs. Martha Angeline
Mercer Frantom, 69, who died in a local hospital at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Rites were conducted at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. J. A.
Cockerham, pastor, and interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Odis Jordan, Monroe Jordan, Olan Jordan, D. O. Pray,
David Hand, and Austin Jordan.

Mrs. Frantom, whose husband passed away in 1920, is survived by one son,
Luther Frantom, and a daughter, Mrs. Katie Mae (Joe) Riley; two sisters, Mrs.
Rodie Crawford of Campti and Mrs. Clement Jordan of Pleasant Hill, and one
brother, Millard Mercer of Alexandria.
