WELL KNOWN WARD EIGHT CITIZEN DIES SUDDENLY MONDAY

Allen Franks, about 72 years of age of Ward Eight, and well known over the
parish, died suddenly Monday according to word received here this week. Mr.
Franks was born and reared in the Couley settlement.

Funeral services were held in the Franks Cemetery Wednesday.  The deceased is
survived by his wife and several children.
