Leslie Franks

Services for Leslie C. Franks, 46, of Winnfield, were held at 11 a.m. Monday
in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Norris Curry and E. B. Barton 
officiating.

Burial was in Sanders Chapel Cemetery in Calvin under the direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. Franks died Saturday, January 12, 1980 in the local hospital after a long 
illness.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maggie Franks of Winnfield; a daughter, Mrs.
Jeanette Thigpen of Winnfield; his mother, Mrs. Lottie Barnes Franks of
Calvin; three brothers, Edward Franks of Calvin, Steven Franks of Winnfield,
and Kenneth Franks of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Attilen Gstohl and Mrs.
Fay Henderson, both of Shreveport; and a grandchild.
